Are Really ecommerce shopping portals authentic ???

I am very religions  online shopper . Be it my shoes, sandals, dresses , food items , cooking oils just anything available i rely on doing shopping online due to hectic schedules .With Various schemes delivery option available i was quite happy until i noticed this .

Recently i ordered a pair of wedges from http://www.snapdeal.com/ From some brand BUTTERFLY which costed me Rs 674 after discount.

I was just browsing through other websites and i came across a posting on http://www.jabong.com with similar pair of shoes but branded as “Carlton London ”

I was striking surprised . Although at one side i was happy that i didn’t buy the sandals from jabong but the fact that two websites have similar shoes under different brand names and pricing made me anxious about my future purchase  . What is i end up paying higher amount of same product which is mentioned on other portal as less priced !!!!

I failed to understand why these two companies have listed their products under different brand names when they must be aware that a consumer might research various portals before making a decision to buy .

What kind of a foul play these companies play ?This has made me Ponder about my future buying decision online !!!

Really a time to Think , study and then buy else don’t be surprised if you feel cheated.Look at the snapshot of the images i gathered from these websites –

GoodLuck cafe

After Reading and hearing LOT about Goodluck cafe finally i decided to land there for Breakfast on Sunday morning .

Since Its located at a very crowded place make sure to go by Two wheeler or Public transport else parking can be pain .
Once you reach there you will see two sections one where thr is a formal waitlist other one is like “GRAB seat to EAT ”

My First impression – Dont go by the word CAFE .. Its not at all a cafe its more like a dhaba .Ofcourse it gives and old heritage cafe sort of a feeling which is interesting. Similar kind of toasters , heaters were being used . but thats not the ONLY things one expects from such an OVERHYPED cjoint . Bad in terms of service , Just don’t think about the cleanliness if you really want to eat there. Its Just so messy !!

Our Order list for the day was –
1. Bun Maska – People are crazy about its bun maska but ironically i just didn’t find anything special except the heaps of extra butter he puts . you take a bite and all you feel inside is butter sticking to your tounge . 2/5
2. Tea – MUST HAVE . Hot & tasty with lots of masala flavors . Just the way i like .:) 5/5
3. Samosa`s – Crisp but cold . They were Just OK . Potato filling was more like dosa filling !!! 2.5/5
4. Masala Omellete – Well cooked , crispy , Although lil spicy but i liked it . 4/5
5. Wada sambhar – BAD is the word .wada was like rock solid even when it was dipped in sambhar !! just left the entire bowl as it is .. 0/5

Food is quite reasonable .
If not the look and feel this place really needs to maintain some hygiene , cleanliness at least maintain their washrooms.

Thats just purely my viewpoint . i am sure most people love GOODLUCK !

Shree Rathnam

Finally i visited this place for a family dinner . We were quite skeptical before going but it turned out to be a good food experience.

Starting with the ambiance – Its pleasing , wooden work on walls , interiors are welcoming, waiters are courteous & responsive , service is quick .

Must appreciate their varities of chutneys they serve ( onion , pudina , coconut pudina ) simply perfect .

Food price is quite reasonable .Both North indian and South Indian food . Doas were crisp , sambhar tasted perfect . In all taste was worth every penny.

Would recommend this place for quick dine out .

Binge Restaurant

Fine dining restaurant in Sector 62 at Steller IT Park.Have been to this place coouple of time .Ambiance is nice and comfortable siting arrangement however the server is quite slow . 

We once had their buffet worth Rs 475/- plus taxes so around 530 . Their buffet is worth the price with quite lot of options of veg and nonveg plus nice desserts.

They have a good spread for ala carte menu as well.Food taste is for the north indian starters and main course. 

Pricing wise it is OK , worth the quality they serve. But their staff needs to be quick and more courteous

So if your are in or around sector 62 then Binge is a good place for dining .

Lakshmi Coffee house

A PERFECT DESTINATION FOR SOUTH INDIAN FOOD .

Located at brahmaputra market , its a Small Restaurant , but they have lot of huge variety.Food just tastes awesome . If you go during peak hours you might have to wait for your turn but since their service is super fast so wait wouldn’t be that long . they have 2 siting areas , AC and NON AC . Charges don’t differ

Be it dosas, idlied , uttampam their entire range is just delicious . Must try their chutneys and gun powder .

Only visit if taste consideration . You got to ignore the ambiance or probably hygiene to some extent .

Ignis Kitchen & Bar

After reading the positive reviews on various sites and looking at the pictures of the restaurant i was super exited to go . But we were dissapointed as soon we entered . They have a small siting area outside which is so unlike the pictures . Not properly maintained , Restaurant needs renovation . Walls needs to be painted plus their chairs terribly needs a change . Don’t be fooled by the ambiance that the pictures promise.I would rate 2.5/5 for Ambiance look and feel in REAL .

Moving on to Drinks – They offer 1+ 1 during happy hours on drinks but some drinks are excluded from this deal . Sangria being one of them . Otherwise drinks are nice . Ignis Cocktail is must try .( pic attached )

They have lot of variety when it comes to starters or main course .
We Ordered Ignis spc veg / Non veg platters – Quality and taste is good but quantity is way too less .
Baked cigars – A must try . Its vegatables with cheese filled in rolls .
Other started like honey chilli potatoes , jheenga kali mirch , chiken tikka were good.

Love their Thai red curry . Simply the best till date i have eaten . Four seasons pizza is worth a try . We tried few more stuff which were ok in taste but Thai curry took the lead.
Would rate 4/5 for food .

Adding to their ambiance sad part is their service which is super slow . during busy hours you might have to wait long . Less no of waiters to manage the guests .Even for getting water or cutlery We had to ask the waiter 5 times to get something.Music was nice but loud . 2/5

Overall you can visit this place if you can ignore the ambiance and poor service .

Exotica ( Zaafran )

One of the finest restaurants i have visited in Pune . Its at par with its name – Exotica – Exotic authentic food is served in exotica.

Everything is just perfect about exotica – Its ambiance , quality & taste of food , courteous & helpful servers . There was a single point where i can pinpoint a negative concern .

Exotica has quite a large sitting capacity . Its basically a rooftop restaurant situated at 7th floor of panchsheel IT park. you can choose where you wish to sit . right near the walls from where you can see the city or next to aquarium or next to their garden effect .

So basically we ordered chilly chicken & khumb exotica for started and they were just Amazing although quantity for Khumb was lil less .
For Main course we opted for Dal zafraan & paneer lababdar and trust me people its the best panner & dal i had in Pune . Being from Delhi i couldn’t find that taste of Dal anywhere but this one was SUPERB.

Its quite expensive but then with the food and ambiance like this you would really regret the damage to your pocket .

Deserves a visit .

Just a suggestion for a hotel though – It will be great if they can segregate smoking and non smoking section.It gets annoying for non smokers and spc people like me who are just allergic to smoke !

Basho`s

A Casual Relaxing place to spend good time with Family friends partner spouse .. just anyone !

This place has a different feel to it than other similar restaurants . Restaurant is somewhat difficult to find for first time and looking at the surrounding one might not want to enter .. but once you enter in there an you will get forest sort of look which small pavements leading to siting area . They have small huts / low siting area between trees and lighting is dim . Its give a private kind of feel . take off your shoes and just sit comfortably and you just end up spending hours .

I mostly order their Baked vegetable which is my husband`s fav so thats always on out immediate order list . I like burger , cheese chilly toast , tandoori mushroom .. Most of their drinks are also quite easy on pocket .

Its not very expensive also probably because of its location . Also on weekend place has a waiitng for like 45 mins or more so plan accordingly before going .
